The Supplements I Swear By, What I Take Daily and Why

If you’ve been following my journey, you know I take a whole-body approach to wellness—movement, breathwork, mindfulness, nourishment, and yes… a few key supplements that help me feel my best. I’m not a fan of loading up on dozens of pills, but I am a fan of simple, purposeful support that aligns with how I live.
Just a quick reminder: the supplement industry is still a business—marketing is powerful, and not every product is as effective as it claims. Always conduct your own research, read labels carefully, verify third-party testing, and consult with a healthcare professional before introducing a new supplement. What works for one person might not be right for you. Trust your body, stay curious, and make informed choices.

Here’s what’s in my daily lineup—and why I swear by each:
🌿 Turmeric (Curcumin)
This golden powerhouse is my go-to for reducing inflammation and joint pain. As someone who moves a lot—teaching, training, living—turmeric helps me recover faster and stay mobile. I make sure it’s paired with black pepper for better absorption.
🐟 Omega-3 Fish Oil
Brain, heart, and joint health in a single capsule. I’ve noticed a real difference in my cognitive clarity and recovery since consistently taking a high-quality fish oil. It also helps with inflammation and keeps my skin feeling hydrated from the inside out.
🦠 Probiotic
Gut health is everything. A daily probiotic keeps my digestion regular, supports my immune system, and even impacts my mood. I take one in the morning before breakfast—especially important when I’m traveling or under stress.
🍊 Vitamin C
Simple but essential. I like to boost my immunity with daily Vitamin C—especially during cold season or when life gets hectic. I usually take it in the morning with my other capsules, and it helps with collagen production, too.
💧 My 2 Morning Drinks
Ginger & Apple Cider Vinegar Tea
I’ve talked about my morning ginger and apple cider vinegar tea many times—and for good reason. This simple ritual is 100% part of my supplement routine, even though it doesn’t come in a capsule or powder. It’s a natural, grounding way to support digestion, inflammation, and immunity first thing in the morning.
Ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory and digestive aid. It helps wake up the digestive system, soothe bloating, and even boost circulation. Apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”) helps balance blood sugar, improve gut health, and support the liver’s natural detox pathways. Together, they create a warming, energizing tonic that sets the tone for the day—especially when taken on an empty stomach.
Beyond the physical benefits, something is grounding about starting your day with a warm, intentional drink. It’s a moment of mindfulness, and a simple way to tell your body, “I’ve got you.”
Supplement Cocktail
Each morning, I mix a few things into my water bottle to hydrate and fuel my body before movement:
Collagen Peptides – Supports skin, joints, hair, and nails. I notice my joints feel better and my skin glows when I’m consistent.
Naked Creatine – Clean, pure creatine monohydrate. Helps with strength gains, muscle recovery, and mental focus.
Electrolytes – Especially important if I’ve done breathwork, sauna, or a sweaty workout. Keeps me energized and balanced.
This morning mix is easy to sip during a session or while I’m training clients. It’s a simple but powerful ritual that keeps me feeling nourished and hydrated.
Final Thoughts
Supplements aren’t magic—but they can be supportive when paired with real food, rest, movement, and mindset work. I always recommend starting with the basics, tuning into your body, and keeping it simple.
These are the ones that work for me. I feel the difference in my energy, recovery, mood, and overall glow. If you’re curious, always check in with a healthcare provider first—and feel free to reach out if you want to chat about what might work for your unique body and goals.
