It’s Never Too Late to Start Bettering Your Health

I was in a yoga class the other day, and as we were ending class and cleaning up our props, I overheard a woman who may have been around 65 years old say, "I've been ignoring my body my whole life and I wish I hadn't beacuse this yoga thing would be a lot easier". I chuckled a little; to me, yoga is never 'easy', it's a practice that will constantly challenge the body and the mind, just like life. All that truly matters is that you showed up for yourself and your body.
Let me just say this upfront: you’re not too old, too far gone, too tired, or too late. That voice in your head that whispers otherwise? It’s lying. That voice is attached to your ego; read a great blog on that here.

We live in a world that glorifies youth, hustle, and bouncing back fast, but I’m here to remind you that healing, growth, and strength don’t come with an expiry date. Your body is listening, even now. It wants to feel better. And no matter what your past looks like—how long it’s been since you’ve moved your body, how many times you’ve tried, or how overwhelmed you feel today—you can ALWAYS begin again.
Starting doesn’t have to mean overhauling your entire life overnight. It might just mean:
🌿 drinking water before your morning coffee
🌿 taking 5 deep breaths before checking your phone
🌿 going for a walk instead of watching TV or Facebook when you feel stuck
🌿 finally booking that appointment you’ve been putting off
🌿 moving your body with love, not punishment
Health isn’t just about numbers or weight or doing it “perfect.” It’s about how you feel in your skin, how connected you are to your breath, your strength, your energy. And that can improve at any age.
I’ve worked with clients in their 20s, 30s, 50s, and 70s. The ones who thrive are the ones who show up with an open mind, a willingness to feel, and a commitment to doing things differently.
So let this be your reminder:
💫 You can begin again at 37.
💫 You can begin again at 52, 65, 72, 85...
💫 You can begin again today.
No pressure, no perfect. Just a choice. One step toward a healthier, more connected you.
If you’re ready to take that step—whether it's through movement, breathwork, somatic practices, or just talking it out—I’m here for it. You’re not alone in this. You were never meant to do it alone.
Let’s start where you are. And let’s do it together.
